About The Position

The Recovery Support Technician will support clients with a substance use disorder in the Washington County Diversion Programs by completing drug and alcohol tests with participants according to best practice standards and supporting other prosocial activities and community engagement. This is a part-time role ideal for someone interested in addiction services, potentially a college student pursuing SAC or SAC-IT certification, as Elevate can provide supervision. Elevate can also support obtaining Certified Peer Support Specialist licensure if applicable. The mission of Elevate is to guide and empower individuals, families, and communities to effectively address substance use and mental health challenges. This role requires a professional and personable demeanor, with respect and consideration for the dignity of clients, visitors, and fellow employees being as important as technical skills. Strict client confidentiality must be maintained.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to work within a team environment.
Pre-employment criminal background check, employment background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

Performing observed drug and alcohol tests for participants.
Closely work with the case management team to help meet program goals and objectives.
Data entry into the electronic health system.
Meet with and talk to participants to support their recovery goals.
