This is a TEMPORARY Position. The Recovery Support Specialist is responsible for providing supervision to patients and facilitates deliverable services while ensuring execution of program policies and procedures as well as staff and patient safety measures. The role involves direct patient supervision, utilizing and promoting the appropriate treatment model, conducting interventions, observing and documenting patient information and behaviors, and ensuring communication between departments. The specialist also ensures patients adhere to the daily schedule, provides group services, maintains accurate electronic health records, supervises medication administration, and provides transportation for patients to off-site appointments or activities. Additionally, the role includes conducting patient checks, facility safety checks, urine testing, and attending required training and meetings. The Recovery Support Specialist acts as a role model, adhering to and promoting the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values, and may assume lead duties for assigned shifts.
