The specialist must adhere to policies set by the Board of Directors, implemented by supervisors, and abide by all applicable laws and regulations, including those from the Kansas Department of Aging & Disability Services, Community Services & Programs Division standards, local city codes, and various contractual agreements (e.g., KDOC, SB123). Key duties involve client supervision, charting behavior, clerical tasks, security, collecting and processing client urinalysis tests, and assisting clinical staff as needed.
