About The Position

This position is part of Spectrum's MOUD (Medications for Opioid Use Disorders) program within the Department of Corrections. The Recovery Support Navigator is responsible for providing clinical case management to engage, educate and support patients seeking treatment upon release and their families to motivate and maintain them in culturally relevant behavioral health services in the community. This engagement begins 120 days pre-release, and the support continues up to 90 days post-release to the community. The role involves working independently and as a team, assisting patients with transportation and housing resources, and making referrals as needed. The position is primarily on-site unless working with patients in the community. Responsibilities include coordinating necessary treatment for various patient needs and communicating with all referral sources and treatment entities using proper releases of information. Working hours are required to meet the business needs of the organization, and travel to other programs or locations may be necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Case management experience strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • LADC-II preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience in the behavioral health field preferred
