About The Position

As a Tissue Recovery Regional Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Recovery Technicians responsible for ocular tissue recovery operations across the St. Louis and Springfield regions. This role combines hands-on recovery work, team leadership, quality oversight, and operational management while supporting a mission that helps restore sight through donation.

Requirements

  • Experience in surgical services, healthcare, tissue donation, forensic science, mortuary services, veterinary medicine, or related fields.
  • Experience working in on-call, critical care, emergency response, transplant, recovery, or other time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to adapt, prioritize, and lead in fast-paced situations.
  • In the last 5 years, the candidate must have 0 major moving violations and less than 3 minor moving violations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop the Team: Coach, mentor, and support Recovery Technicians while fostering a positive, mission-driven culture.
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage staffing, scheduling, coverage, and operational support across multiple locations.
  • Perform Recovery Procedures: Conduct ocular tissue recoveries, donor evaluations, documentation, and related clinical activities.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain compliance with EBAA, FDA, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support Hiring & Training: Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, competency development, and performance management.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Partner with leadership to improve processes, enhance team performance, and maintain operational excellence.
