About The Position

Catholic Charities Maine St. Francis Recovery Center in Auburn has Part Time & Per-Diem opportunities for Recovery Specialists to provide responsible direct client, non-medical care. Recovery Specialists are paraprofessional staff members who work closely with residential clients in early recovery from substance use disorders. Recovery Specialists serve as a positive recovery support, while enforcing program rules and agency policies. This rewarding position is primarily evenings, awake overnights, and weekend hours. Shifts: Saturday & Sunday 8A - 4P; Thursday thru Sunday 4P – 12P. Looking for someone who can be available on weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with substance use disorders
Degrees in social behavioral sciences, human services, psychology, and criminal justice

Responsibilities

Provide responsible direct client, non-medical care.
Work closely with residential clients in early recovery from substance use disorders.
Serve as a positive recovery support.
Enforce program rules and agency policies.
