About The Position

The Recovery Services Sales Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for prospective clients identified through company research and is responsible for converting qualified leads into signed, complete, and operations-approved client files. This position educates prospective clients regarding the Company's contingency-based recovery services, builds trust through professional communication, addresses questions and objections, secures required agreements and authorizations, and facilitates a seamless transition of client files into the document collection and claims-processing workflow. The Recovery Services Sales Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all prospect interactions within the Company's customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring timely follow-up, protecting confidential information, and conducting all client communications in accordance with approved sales practices, compliance standards, and company policies. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, relationship-building, and sales skills while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and customer service. The position works collaboratively with the Operations Manager, Research Specialists, Document Specialists, Claims Processing Specialists, and other operational personnel to support efficient workflow management, maximize lead conversion, maintain documentation accuracy, and contribute to the successful recovery of client assets while achieving departmental performance objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in sales, customer service, call center operations, client relations, or lead generation.
  • Experience communicating with clients by telephone and other electronic communication methods.
  • Experience using CRM systems or similar customer management platforms to document interactions and manage follow-up activities.
  • Experience in outbound sales, inside sales, lead conversion, client intake, financial services, legal intake, recovery services, insurance, or other consultative sales environments.
  • Experience working remotely while meeting established productivity, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass all required background and reference checks prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Contact assigned prospective clients using Company-approved communication methods, including telephone, email, text messaging, voicemail, and other authorized platforms.
  • Review assigned leads, research findings, claim information, and client history prior to initiating contact.
  • Educate prospective clients on the Company's recovery services, contingency-based fee structure, claims process, and required documentation.
  • Build trust and credibility by communicating accurate, ethical, and transparent information while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Address client questions, concerns, and objections using approved communication standards, sales techniques, and Company-approved scripts.
  • Obtain signed client agreements, authorizations, disclosures, and all required onboarding documentation from qualified prospects.
  • Coordinate the collection, review, and submission of client documentation to ensure files are complete, accurate, and ready for operational processing.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all communications, sales activities, follow-up efforts, and client status updates within the Company's CRM system.
  • Conduct timely follow-up with assigned prospects to maximize lead conversion and maintain consistent client engagement.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager, Research Specialists, Document Specialists, and Claims Processing Specialists to facilitate the timely transfer of qualified client files through the recovery services workflow.
  • Meet established productivity, conversion, quality assurance, documentation, and customer service performance standards.
  • Maintain compliance with Company policies, approved communication standards, confidentiality requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Protect confidential client, Company, and proprietary information by following established privacy and information security protocols.
  • Utilize Company-approved technology, CRM platforms, communication systems, and document management software efficiently and accurately.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience, workflow efficiency, and sales performance while contributing to continuous operational improvement.
  • Serve as a resource for client inquiries, escalations, and complex recovery service matters requiring management review.
  • Escalate legal concerns, identity verification issues, suspected fraud, complaints, estate matters, or other sensitive situations to the Operations Manager in a timely manner.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, coaching, quality assurance reviews, and continuing education activities.
  • Assist with special projects, sales initiatives, CRM enhancements, workflow improvements, and other operational assignments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve lead quality, operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and overall service delivery.
  • Support management by providing feedback regarding sales trends, lead quality, client concerns, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and training newly hired Recovery Services Sales Specialists when requested.
  • Maintain accurate records, productivity reports, and documentation to support operational reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, sound judgment, and integrity in all client interactions and business activities.
  • Comply with all Company policies, confidentiality requirements, cybersecurity standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and adhere to all remote work and technology policies.
  • Perform other duties, special assignments, and cross-functional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager or other authorized Company leadership.
