About The Position

The Recovery Residence House Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with program rules in the Men’s Recovery Residence Facility. This role involves coordinating all associated paperwork, reviewing required documents with new residents, preparing purchase requests, and coordinating weekly resident meetings. The House Manager will also meet weekly with the Program Manager/Director, maintain the facility's cleanliness, assist with data collection, and ensure compliance with health, fire, and regulatory standards, as well as WestCare California policies and procedures.

Requirements

Reside at the Facility during the Term of the Agreement and provide security and maintenance for the Facility during the hours of 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 am Monday through Friday and weekends (Weekend hours may vary according to the needs of the program)
Use of the premises shall be for Tenant (House Manager) exclusively. Tenant shall not allow any other person to use or occupy the premises without first obtaining written consent to such use.
Maintain professional boundaries with program residents.
Monitor the facility and notify Operations Director in a timely manner in case of emergency relating to program participants, including illegal activity, violence, failure to observe rules and medical emergencies.
Call law enforcement or emergency response as needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to identify those under the influence of drugs/alcohol and be drug and alcohol free
Knowledge of substance abuse and treatment is required
Must be in possession of a valid Class C Driver’s License and be able to obtain and maintain eligibility for WestCare vehicle insurance.
Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality
Ability to pass criminal history background screening
High school diploma or equivalent is required
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Annual TB test is required

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with program rules in the Men’s Recovery Residence Facility
Coordinating all paperwork associated with the recovery residence program, i.e., sign-in/out log, etc.
Reviewing required paperwork with new residents
Preparing and submitting purchase requests necessary for the operation of the facility
Coordinating weekly resident meetings with all participants living in the facility
Meeting with the Program Manager/Director on a weekly basis
Ensuring that the facility is maintained in a neat and clean manner
Assisting with the collection of data necessary for the project
Responsible for facility compliance with health, fire and other regulatory standards
Ensuring that all required policies and procedures of WestCare California are carried out in the recovery residence program
Residing at the Facility during the Term of the Agreement and providing security and maintenance for the Facility during specified hours
Monitoring the facility and notifying Operations Director in a timely manner in case of emergency relating to program participants, including illegal activity, violence, failure to observe rules and medical emergencies
Calling law enforcement or emergency response as needed
Performing other duties relating to facility support as assigned as needed
