Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent required.
Forklift Certification.
At least 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Lift Truck experience preferred.

Ability to tactfully yet assertively state position and possess the persuasiveness to obtain leader agreement. Must possess and display integrity. Written communication clear and concise.

Responsibilities

Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
Actively participate in risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility.
Actively participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis and support implemented corrective actions.
Participate in safety observation programs as required.
Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach with mainline team and cross functional personnel.
Understand and fully utilize all ISO procedures.
Meet productivity standards.
Complete required documentation- Example: Patrols, housekeeping sheets, Railcar and Flake transfers, etc.
Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine.
Make adjustments to machinery as needed- Example: Color and flake additive checks, Extruder heating checks, process settings, etc.
Suggest improvements to processes or procedures.
Coordinate with maintenance, Team Leader and Engineering for issues and improvements.
Perform 6S and other housekeeping duties required for clean and safe work environment.
Train others as needed.
Additional duties as assigned.
