Recovery Navigator/Medical Front Desk
About The Position
Liberation Programs, Inc. is currently seeking a Recoveree Navigator to work at our Outpatient Treatment Facility in Bridgeport, CT. The Recoveree Navigator will serve as a source of hope and support, including as a motivator, recovery resource broker, mentor and liaison to individuals struggling with opioid misuse or other substance misuse, including alcohol. The main function of the Recoveree Navigator will include line monitoring, check ins and treatment support services to Recoverees in our Bridgeport Health and Wellness Center. The ideal person will be enthusiastic, kind, extremely well organized and passionate in working closely with people in recovery.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and automobile insurance
- Ability to travel to our Bridgeport location, and across Connecticut as needed
- Reliable and flexible based on clinic needs
- Understanding of medication-assisted treatment and practices
- Experienced building effective Coach-Recoveree relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively, be an effective listener, and communicate with clinical staff regarding Recoveree needs/progress
- High School Diploma/GED
