About The Position

Rosecrance is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Recovery Home Specialists. This part-time role focuses on supervising residents, providing continuity of program services in an ethical and therapeutic environment, and participating as a team member in delivering addictions treatment services. The goal is to help clients and their families overcome substance use and mental health challenges through compassionate care and evidence-based therapies, fostering hope and recovery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Familiarity with 12-steps highly desirable
• Skilled in adult behavioral management techniques
• Computer proficiency required
• Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records required
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements
• Must have your own transportation

Nice To Haves

• Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the behavior of residents, providing appropriate interventions and consequences.
• Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate the development of independent living skills.
• Develop and present resident education.
• Assist in planning menus with residents and shopping for household items.
• Supervise designated daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, menu planning, shopping, and cooking meals.
• Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for the designated shift.
• Facilitate focal group discussion sessions.
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings, treatment plan reviews, shift meetings, and committee meetings.
• Ensure client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
• Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on the medical log, if designated.
• Perform secure handling of cardholder data, including encryption, data storage limitations, and adherence to security protocols.
• Participate in mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) training, access controls, and regular security assessments.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Serve as a member of the Rosecrance Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
• Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
• Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
• Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.
