Recovery Coach | Entry-Level Mental Health Aide
About The Position
The Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) is responsible for assisting in the provision of the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, and assisting in crisis intervention. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Director of Nursing, the Program Director, or a designee. Crestwood's Sonoma County Healing Center provides an alternative to traditional psychiatric care through collaboration, empowerment, a healing environment, peer providers, family partners, and a recovery-oriented milieu. Our PHF program provides the structure and support needed to promote stabilization and foster recovery. Our goals are to restore a sense of hope, self-empowerment and realize potential of recovery in each of our clients and to provide a transition plan to enable a successful return to their community.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- A compassionate mindset toward those who are in recovery
