Mental Health Recovery Coach
About The Position
Monte Nido Clementine Naperville is a residential treatment program in Naperville, Illinois, serving adolescents receiving treatment for eating disorders or exercise addiction. The program supports adolescents and their families through recovery by helping clients build healthy skills and prepare to navigate life free of their eating disorder. The part-time Recovery Coach supports clients throughout their recovery journey, provides interventions consistent with treatment plans, and helps foster healthy connections among clients and the care team. The role includes assisting with meal preparation and supervision, participating in therapeutic groups, conducting rounds and observations, and occasionally driving clients to off-site appointments and activities. Required availability is Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $17–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- At least two years of post-high-school education; a bachelor’s degree in psychology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired and required in some states.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and safe driving history.
- Good communication and client relations skills, service orientation, flexibility, and ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities
- Support and integrate clients through their recovery journey.
- Provide support and intervention consistent with each client’s treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with other clients and the team.
- Assist with food preparation and setup; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
- Gain exposure to therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
