About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies and procedures, contributes to a safe and positive environment for members and team members, and works collaboratively to deliver daily GOLD Member and Club Standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical and environmental conditions described for the role, including frequent movement, lifting, and using a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise signage is correct.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases, and replenish box bins.
• Use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support daily GOLD Member Standards and club standards, including friendly service, accurate signage, stocked merchandise, and a clean, organized club.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
