About The Position

FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on the Maintenance, Repair and Exchange (MRE) of CFM56 and V2500 engines. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or bachelor’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in records management within engine maintenance (MRO) environment
  • Proven experience performing the key responsibilities listed above with a high level of accuracy and consistency
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to engine records
  • Advanced organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn additional systems
  • Ability to work independently and serve as a subject matter resource for the team
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming records review for engines and accessories to determine status regarding Manufacturer’s maintenance requirements, Services Bulletins / Modifications, and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Receive, screen, and process information on articles being processed for repair/alteration.
  • Organize outgoing records packages, Form 337 and 8130·3 for engines and Modules.
  • Manage work order priorities for records completion within the department to align with Production TAT requirements.
  • Audit all received paperwork for complete and accurate documentation of work performed. Notes deficiencies and obtains corrective action for submitted records.
  • Verify AD, SB and other work scope compliance on actual work performed.
  • Manage electronic data storage.
  • Set up life-limited parts tracking documents.
  • Prepare Life Limited Parts trace for continued usage.
  • Prepare Life Limited Parts trace for final approval.
  • Prepare Master On/Off Log reports for engine shop visit.
  • Maintain files of completed work orders and inspection forms in such a manner that the file pertaining to a specific item repaired can be readily located for review.
  • Ensure that all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders used by the repair station are properly executed by the personnel responsible.
  • Oversee maintenance records for field maintenance interventions.
  • Participate in special projects as deemed valuable to the Department and Company
