They are seeking a Records Management Specialist to support information governance, FOIA processing, and records management activities in a federal environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper handling, tracking, and reporting of agency records while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and policies. The ideal candidate has experience with FOIA processes, records management systems, and Microsoft 365 tools, along with strong organizational and analytical skills. Requirements

  • Must have an active Public Trust security Clearance
  • Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
  • 3+ years of experience in records management, information governance, or a related field
  • Experience supporting FOIA and Privacy Act processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, particularly SharePoint
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • GCIA (GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst)
  • GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process FOIA and Privacy Act requests, ensuring timely and compliant responses
  • Maintain and organize records in accordance with federal policies, procedures, and retention schedules
  • Administer and manage SharePoint sites, including user access, permissions, and content organization
  • Support records tracking and reporting using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Develop reports and analytics related to records management and information governance activities
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate reporting and administrative tasks
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing information governance policies and procedures
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of records and documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve records management processes and compliance
