About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking a dependable Record Center Specialist to join its Operations team. The role helps keep customer assets organized, safe, and moving efficiently through the facility. Working with a team, the specialist supports accurate shipment handling so critical orders reach clients complete and on schedule.

Requirements

Prior hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Familiarity with inventory scanning tools, barcoding systems, and order fulfillment workflows.
Physical stamina to stand for extended shifts, climb stairs, and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass standard background checks.
Safety-first mindset, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to handling customer assets with care.

Responsibilities

Safely move materials, inventory, and freight throughout the facility and across loading docks using pallet jacks and standard warehouse equipment.
Process inbound and outbound shipments, including unpacking crates, filling orders, checking weights, and staging loads for timely transport.
Maintain organized storage areas and perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
Inspect shipments for quality and manually lift items typically weighing 35 to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 51 pounds.
Identify packing or shipping discrepancies, keep workspace tools in good condition, and communicate practical ways to streamline workflows.
