About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking a reliable Record Center Specialist to join its Operations team. In a fast-paced warehouse environment, the specialist safeguards customers’ physical records by accurately accounting for materials, handling them safely, and preparing them for transit. The role involves processing orders and storage locations, resolving shipment discrepancies, operating facility equipment, and following strict safety and asset-security procedures. The position is listed as casual, with no benefits until conversion. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour, and the stated shift is 7:30 AM–6:00 PM. The hiring event is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1800 Columbian Club Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006; managers will interview on the spot and make offers.

Requirements

Prior hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Knowledge of inventory scanning systems, barcoding, and shipping preparation processes.
Ability to perform active physical work, including standing for extended shifts, climbing stairs, and repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
Punctual and collaborative mindset, with a strong commitment to workplace safety and strict asset-security procedures.

Responsibilities

Scan carton barcodes and record accurate storage locations using the Safekeeper system.
Investigate order discrepancies, manifest outgoing materials, and securely bundle containers for transport.
Lift, move, and stack 50 to 100 cartons per hour, with cartons weighing 25 to 50 pounds, using standard warehouse tools and carts.
Inspect and operate scanning hardware, wedge terminals, ladders, and safety gear.
Follow safety protocols, report operational hazards, and collaborate with team members to resolve fulfillment issues.
