About The Position

Vanguard Skin Specialists is a growing multi-specialty practice including dermatology, dermatopathology, Mohs surgery, plastic surgery, and aesthetics. We are seeking an outstanding Plastic Surgeon who will help create a great work environment and contribute to our mission of making a positive impact on our patients, community, and world. This role involves a mix of reconstructive surgery (approximately 2-3 days/week for in-office procedures like surgical excisions and reconstruction following Mohs surgery) and building a plastic and cosmetic surgery practice (2 days/week). The practice offers physician autonomy, a dedicated team, and opportunities for internal referrals to build a patient base. The practice is physician-owned and operated, located in southern Colorado.

Requirements

Valid CO medical license at time of commencement.
BC/BE in plastic surgery.
Alignment with Vanguard’s mission and values.
Ability to meet all physical and cognitive requirements to practice reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery in an office, ASC and OR setting.
Ability to sit, stand, and perform duties for >10 hour stretches of time.
Ability to communicate accurately, effectively and frequently.

Nice To Haves

Extensive experience with in-office Mohs reconstruction is a plus.
