About The Position

Reconstruction Estimator SERVPRO® Team Toft Do you enjoy helping people rebuild after unexpected events? Join our team as a Reconstruction Estimator and play a key role in restoring homes and businesses after fire and water damage—making it “Like it never even happened®.” In this role, you’ll work directly with customers, project managers, and vendors to develop accurate, detailed estimates and help guide projects from start to finish. Requirements

2+ years of construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
Proficiency with Xactimate™ estimating software
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Solid math, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Nice To Haves

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the construction process
Educate customers on scope, timelines, and available options (including upgrades)
Inspect job sites and develop accurate sketches and scopes of work
Analyze labor, materials, and time requirements for each project
Prepare clear, detailed, and organized estimates using Xactimate™
Identify project constraints, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with Project Managers to finalize pricing and scope
Coordinate with third-party experts (engineers, inspectors, etc.) as needed
Communicate estimates clearly to both customers and internal teams
