About The Position
Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is seeking a Reconditioning Technician to support our high-volume pre-owned vehicle operation. This is a flat-rate production role focused on preparing used vehicles for sale in a high-volume dealership environment. If you are a technician who wants steady work, strong flag hours, and a consistent workflow, this is a strong opportunity.
Requirements
- 1 year of automotive experience.
- ASE certifications are ideal.
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Flat-rate technician experience preferred
- Automotive repair or dealership shop experience
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
- Team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Inspect and recondition incoming pre-owned vehicles
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs
- Complete required recon work efficiently and accurately
- Identify needed repairs and document findings
- Prepare vehicles for front-line retail readiness
