About The Position

First Quality is a family-owned company with over 35 years of experience, employing over 5,000 team members across the U.S. and Canada. We produce high-quality personal care and household products for large retailers and healthcare organizations. Our portfolio includes baby diapers, wipes, feminine pads, paper towels, bath tissue, adult incontinence products, laundry detergents, fabric finishers, and dish soap solutions. We also manufacture raw materials and components, including flexible print and packaging solutions. We are seeking Reclaim Technicians for our First Quality Baby Products facility in Macon, GA, to support all reclaim functions safely and efficiently, promoting teamwork and operations. These are entry-level positions starting at $20/hour.

Requirements

• Walk and stand for a 12-hour period
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50lb
• Keep your work area swept and cleaned
• Analyze numbers and apply some computer skills
• Learn a lot of new information in a short period of time
• Ask lots of questions and take initiative to learn more
• Work a rotating shift that includes a combination of days and nights, holidays, and weekends
• Be 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in maintaining all reclaim equipment in a safe manner including the following: balers, all scrap collection systems, separator systems, osprey dust collectors, central vacuum systems, forklift, and various lift equipment
• Support recycling efforts
• Maintain appearance of the area through effective housekeeping practices
