About The Position
HOKALI is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Recess Educators. This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during recess hours, creating a safe, active, and positive environment for elementary school students. The position involves leading games and activities, encouraging positive social interactions, and ensuring student safety and well-being. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and development through HOKALI Academy, with structured lesson plans that can be adapted. Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during recess and outdoor play
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
- Lead engaging games and recreational activities
- Encourage teamwork, inclusion, and positive social interactions
- Support students in resolving minor conflicts respectfully
- Help maintain a structured and enjoyable recess environment
- Monitor attendance and communicate any concerns to school staff
- Prepare and organize activity equipment and materials
- Keep play areas organized, clean, and safe
