About The Position
The Recess Aide provides supervision to students in the lunchroom and on the playground at Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School. The role is scheduled for 4 hours weekly and pays $17.00 per hour. Pay determination is based on experience, education, internal equity, and market as defined by NHA. Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School is located in Brooklyn, New York. Opened in 2004, it serves more than 550 K–8 students each year. The school highlights professional development, a mapped curriculum with detailed lesson plans, and behavioral support for teachers and students (ABSS).
Requirements
- Prior experience supervising children ages 5 to 17.
- Experience organizing recreation activities.

- Monitor student behavior and advise students on safe practices.
