About The Position

Otsego Public Schools is seeking to add a Recess Aide to the staff at Alamo Elementary. This position is Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day, for the 2026-27 School Year.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• A love for kids!

Responsibilities

• Works cooperatively with the other adults in the building toward a positive, productive school environment
• Supervises students in the cafeteria during meals
• Informs administration of any serious infraction of discipline rules by students.
• Supervises students on the playground and ensures students are being safe and following rules.
• Administers minor first aid, cares for sick children and informs office staff / teachers as needed
• Escort and supervise individual students and / or groups of students both in and outside the building, as needed, including students sent to the office
• Other duties as assigned by the building principal.
