About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital-OKC Partnership with Select Medical is seeking a Receptionist for their Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. This Per Diem position requires availability on weekends from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the possibility of other shifts. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with a range of complex medical conditions, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Previous receptionist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screening visitors to the appropriate location and ensuring building security.
• Ensuring all visitors sign in and wear a visitor's pass.
• Providing daily coverage for the admissions coordinator during breaks and as needed.
• Connecting/transferring calls to the appropriate party and performing overhead paging.
• Notifying the admissions coordinator when a customer requests a facility tour.
• Obtaining wheelchairs for patients.
• Reporting any unusual behavior in the lobby/parking area to facilities.
• Notifying nursing when gifts for patients arrive for timely delivery.
• Postmarking all outgoing mail and distributing all incoming mail.
• Logging all incoming job applications.
