About The Position
Encompass Medical Group is a primary care provider group with five offices in the Kansas City metro area, dedicated to high standards of healthcare excellence. They are seeking a Receptionist for their Lee's Summit office. The role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling cash collection and deposits, and maintaining good public relations. Encompass Medical Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent; medical terminology
- Prior office/clerical experience
- Basic computer skills
- Good speaking voice
- Computer skills
- Customer service focused
- Sitting, standing, stooping
- High volume of keyboard use
Responsibilities
- Receives all incoming calls for the department and refers them after collecting all required patient data when appropriate to the appropriate personnel
- Makes appointments over the phone and in person
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Cash collection and deposit
- Other clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
