Beloit Health System is looking to add a Receptionist to our Team! The Receptionist answers incoming telephone calls, checks in patients as they arrive, schedules appointments, takes telephone messages and directs patients to various areas. Acts as a liaison for the physicians of the Beloit Health System by serving the public in a competent, positive, professional and efficient manner. Troubleshoots and/or problem-solves issues avoiding interruptions for the physician and promotes a positive work environment. Demonstrates ability to perform functions accurately and efficiently with computer software application appropriate to position. Interacts in a positive, responsible and cooperative manner with patients, physicians, co-workers and managers. Portrays a positive image for the Beloit Health System by dressing appropriately for the position. Wears photo I.D. badge for proper identification by others. Maintains a safe work environment for self and others. Attends mandatory safety training sessions and adheres to Beloit Health System and OSHA safety requirements. Ensures security of PHI. Maintains confidentiality of all patient and employee information and records, Beloit Health System financial information and business practices. Maintains acceptable levels of initiative and productivity. Abides by Attendance policy for absences and tardiness.
