About The Position

The Receptionist welcomes patients and directs them to the services they need. The role includes making appointments and follow-up appointments and making a preliminary assessment of patients’ payment category before they see a provider. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Pampa Regional Medical Center, a 25-bed critical-access hospital in the Texas Panhandle and a member of Prime Healthcare.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a receptionist.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
