About The Position

The primary function of the receptionist position is to create a positive first impression for all guests and callers. Additionally, the receptionist will be an effective communicator, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements

Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
Affirm the Family Church Network statements of belief and practices as codified in the organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
Proficient in MS Word and Outlook, other MS Suite applications as required.
Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor.

Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, and intellectual property.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Welcome and greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Determine the purpose of each visitor's arrival and direct them appropriately.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls efficiently and professionally.
Take accurate messages and ensure they are relayed promptly.
Provide information to guests and callers answering questions to the best of their ability.
Follow safety and security procedures, including monitoring visitor badges and logbooks.
Receive, sort, check, and distribute mail and package deliveries.
Other duties as assigned.
