The receptionist also prepares medical records, reconciles charge capture sheets, answers telephones, takes messages, and provides coverage to other clinics as needed. Additionally, they assemble patient charts, update patient profiles, schedule physician referrals, and participate in daily huddles to review schedules and follow-up tasks.
