About The Position

The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently, maintain deadlines, and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships with customers, vendors, and interface with associates in all departments.
  • This position may require: Pre-employment drug screening Background checks Medical examinations Safety certifications Valid driver's license Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Working in various weather conditions Travel to remote locations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for welcoming clients and visitors, creating a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Assist clients and visitors by answering questions and providing information about organization’s services and polices.
  • Handle incoming calls, screen and direct them to the appropriate department and take messages when necessary.
  • Manage calendar and bookings for conference rooms in the Baytown Plant Office Building.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, copying.
  • Assist FlexSteel Executive Team with administrative support including submitting expense reports and editing digital presentations.
  • Responsible for maintaining office supplies, cleaning services, and coffee services.
  • Assist the Event Committee with organizing company wide meetings & events including but not limited to sending calendar invites, obtaining event approvals, ordering food, and event set up.
  • Special projects or assignments as directed by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
