About The Position

Student receptionist is responsible for helping with administrative coverage of the reception area: greeting guests and helping schedule facilities. Duties will include receiving all visitors to the School of Engineering and directing them to the needed services by fielding questions and providing directions to the many and various locations within the school and elsewhere in DeMoss Hall. Specific duties will include directing students scheduled for CASAS advising and tutoring, assisting in the coordination of room schedules and events, answering the telephone, and providing back-up coverage to relieve the office manager for meetings and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Must be a residential Liberty University student
• Ability to work 18 hours per week
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must have and maintain a minimum of 2.5 overall GPA
• Demonstrate a personal faith commitment to the University’s evangelical Christian purpose
