About The Position

Provides the first line of customer contact for incoming calls and customers entering the branch. Provide excellent customer service in accordance with our bank standards and philosophy. Present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. Cross sell bank products and services as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills and Team Player Attitude
  • Professional and positive Communication Skills
  • Detail Oriented and ability to Multi-Task are essential
  • Flexibility and Follow Up necessary
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • This position is largely sedentary; however, it does require some degree of bending, standing and twisting.
  • The use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and fax machines is also required.
  • The ability to read and enter information onto a computer screen and to assist customers over the phone is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior banking experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Provides general clerical support for the branch while greeting customers, answering phones, ordering supplies, etc.
  • Transfers calls to the appropriate person or department to assist customer.
  • Responsible for various monthly branch / bank reports.
  • May assist other departments with special projects.
  • Participates in available training to strengthen job knowledge.
  • Participates in bank community activities and promotes SMB products and services.
