About The Position

Crown Collision Center in St. Petersburg is hiring a Receptionist to answer incoming calls, welcome visitors, and handle day-to-day transactions at their busy location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handling a variety of duties throughout the day. While body shop experience is highly preferred, the company is willing to train the right applicant. Crown Collision Center is part of Crown Automotive Group, a family-owned company established in 1969 with multiple locations across Tennessee, Ohio, and Florida.

Requirements

Minimum six (6) months basic office experience or receptionist experience
Fast-paced office - MUST be able to handle high volume
Clear, pleasant and professional voice, manner and appearance
Basic typing, calculator, computer skills along with other basic office skills
Basic math skills along with the ability to follow and carry out written/oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems by handling them as instructed/trained
Current FL Driver’s License and ability to meet U.S. employment and Crown’s eligibility requirements - includes background and drug-screen

Nice To Haves

Body Shop Experience is HIGHLY preferred
Office/Receptionist experience in a Body Shop/Collision Shop is HIGHLY preferred
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls
Welcome visitors
Handle day-to-day transactions
Accepting Payments for services and products
Contacting customers with updates on repairs of their vehicle
Opening internal tickets for repair jobs
Preparing salvage yard paperwork
Assisting estimators as needed
Performing other clerical duties as needed
Attending meetings, complying with company policies and performing other duties as needed
