About The Position

The Receptionist, called a Concierge at Priority Life Care, provides exceptional assistance and information to guests, visitors, residents’ families, and staff, helping people enter or exit the facility. The Concierge serves as a welcoming and informative representative of the community, handles incoming calls and visitors, and follows procedures established by state and federal regulations. The role supports the organization’s mission and values and reports issues or problems to the Executive Director.

Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last four years.
Must pass a background screening.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in long-term care, home health, or related service industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming and informative experience for residents, families, visitors, and the public.
Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls; provide information and take messages.
Greet visitors and direct or escort them to their destinations.
Perform word-processing duties as assigned.
May assist guests in and out of vehicles or wheelchairs.
Report issues or problems to the Executive Director.
Comply with applicable state, federal, health care, and safety standards.
Assist families and other visitors as needed.
