About The Position

Ray Catena Lexus of White Plains is seeking a professional, friendly, and outgoing Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our dealership and will play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for every customer and guest.

Ability to handle schedule flexibility; evenings and some Saturdays are a MUST
Ability to successfully pass a background check
Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling financial transactions
Comfortable handling cash, credit card transactions, and receipts
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced dealership environment
Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed

Responsibilities

Answer dealership group phones and direct calls appropriately
Greet and receive prospects and customers in a warm, professional manner
Direct customers to the appropriate department, notify the appropriate team member that a customer is waiting, and introduce customers to a salesperson
Work cooperatively and effectively with the sales team
Update and maintain customer records
Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
Process credit card transactions
Handle cash deposits and ensure funds are properly secured and accounted for
Prepare and issue receipts for customer transactions and payments
Provide outstanding customer service and represent the dealership professionally at all times
