About The Position

The Receptionist, called a Concierge at Priority Life Care, provides courteous assistance and information to incoming guests, visitors, residents’ families, and staff, helping people enter and exit the facility. The role represents the community by creating a welcoming and informative experience, follows applicable procedures and health care and safety regulations, and promotes Priority Life Care’s mission and values. The position pays $15 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last four years.
Must pass a background screening.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in long-term care, home health, or related service industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome and inform residents, their families, visitors, and the public.
Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls; provide information and take messages.
Greet visitors and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
Perform word processing duties as assigned.
May assist guests in and out of vehicles or wheelchairs.
Report issues or problems to the Executive Director.
Comply with applicable state, federal, health care, and safety standards.
Assist families and other visitors as needed.
Promote and exemplify Priority Life Care’s mission and values.
