About The Position

The Receptionist receives callers at the Corporate office, determines the nature of business, and directs callers to their destination. This position is the first point of contact for visitors to the Corporate office and will help guide them to their purpose. This position requires effective communication skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software

Responsibilities

  • Operates telephone console.
  • Greets visitors and notifies the appropriate person in the Corporate office of visitors.
  • Calls appropriate personnel for deliveries made to the front lobby.
  • Processes and coordinates shipments (i.e. UPS), orders, and maintains supplies.
  • Distributes mail and faxes into Corporate mailboxes.
  • Stamps outgoing mail, enters postage for the machine, and orders postage supplies.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies.
  • Keeps administrators’ schedules in Excel.
  • Maintains a list for maintenance requests.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties.
