About The Position
Rome Health is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to support our outpatient substance use disorder clinic - Community Recovery Center. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for patients seeking care for substance use disorders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA and federal SUD regulations)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or administrative support preferred
- NARCAN certification is provided by the agency and required upon starting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with reception or front desk responsibilities
- Experience working with a Behavioral Health Population
- Compassionate and respectful approach to working with individuals in recovery
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet patients in a professional, compassionate manner
- Schedule patient appointments
- Assist with transportation coordination for patients
- Maintain filing and basic patient data tracking
- Provide general administrative support to the clinic team
