Join a successful State Farm independent contractor agency located in 2108 S Business Hwy 281 Ste C, Edinburg, TX 78539. We are seeking an energetic, motivated professional to join our team and contribute to our growth by providing outstanding customer experiences and value-based insurance solutions. Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. This position is with an independent State Farm agent, not State Farm Insurance Companies. Licensing and training requirements apply. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm. Agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening skills.
People-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
Well-organized with the ability to multi-task effectively.
Self-motivated and proactive problem solver.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Typing speed (like 40-60 WPM)
Licensing and training requirements apply.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with timely follow-up.
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Collaborate with the agent to support local community events.
