The Receptionist is responsible for providing the highest quality of customer service at all times and maintaining a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times. This role involves handling confidential information, including client/guest records, with a high degree of integrity and adhering to all HIPAA and confidentiality policies. The Receptionist will answer and route calls as appropriate, take messages with accuracy, and greet and complete established check-in procedures for arriving guests on a daily basis, using both manual and computerized methods, to ensure guests are satisfied and in rooms as requested. Additional duties include receiving and transmitting mail, packages and messages for clients, keeping the lobby and desk area clean and presentable, and performing other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. The role requires demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times in the care of the clients and the use of the facility property, arriving for work on time and adhering to the program’s attendance policies, and demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and completing duties in the allotted time. The Receptionist must also maintain adequate knowledge of the program’s emergency preparedness plan, emergency and security procedures and participate in all mandatory training and attend in-service training as required.
