About The Position

As a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist at an independently owned and operated H&R Block franchise location, you will help clients make confident, informed decisions by providing a welcoming and personalized experience. You will build client relationships and support their needs in person, over the phone, and virtually. The listed pay range is $16.00–$20.00 per hour. The franchisee makes its own hiring decisions; employment questions should be directed to the franchisee.

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations.
• Sales or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner.
• Match clients with the tax professional best suited to their needs.
• Schedule clients according to their preferences.
• Help ensure clients’ needs are met during service in person, over the phone, or virtually.
• Maintain office cleanliness and organize resources with team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
