About The Position

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a Receptionist to join our team at FCHC Orthopedics. This is a full-time position, working 80 hours bi-weekly. The shift is the 1st shift, with hours Monday - Wednesday from 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM, Thursday from 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous physician office experience
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) software experience

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and tests.
• Complete referrals and enter patient information.
• Collect copays and obtain necessary forms and signatures for treatment, release of information, and insurance precertifications.
• Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers appropriately.
