Requirements

  • Prior experience as a medical receptionist (eye care experience strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and polished demeanor; ability to maintain an upscale appearance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Business professional dress code required
  • Flexibility to work in multiple office locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering multi-line phones and directing calls appropriately
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Verifying insurance information and collecting patient payments
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
  • Assisting with daily administrative tasks and office organization
  • Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
  • Upholding the practices high standards of service and appearance
