Values: Customer Focus, Performance Excellence, Learning and Growth Position Summary This position will provide executive, administrative, clerical and confidential office support to the Community Center staff. This positive, professional and organized individual has the ability to prioritize and manage numerous simultaneous tasks and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requirements

  • Passion for the mission and values of Delta Community Supports.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English; perform arithmetical calculations.
  • Ability to use excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to use telephone, voice mail, copier, facsimile machine, computer and calculator.
  • Fully proficient at an advanced level in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel and the ability to learn new and emerging software.
  • Ability to occasionally exert up to 20 lbs. of force (lifting).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and continuously with Delta staff at all levels.
  • Ability work effectively with people, facilitating their growth and development.
  • Strong customer service and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrated high standards of accuracy in exercising duties and responsibilities.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two years of general office administrative experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • AA or certificate in administrative office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times.
  • Answer phones with a pleasant and courteous manner, respond to routine inquires, connect callers to their respective party, and take messages.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Delta’s internal and external customers.
  • Greet visitors, answer visitors’ inquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate person.
  • Receive, open and distribute mail.
  • Type letters, reports, memos and correspondence; address and mail letters.
  • File material as assigned.
  • Assist in ordering needed supplies.
  • Create and maintain Excel files.
  • Enter attendance and outings into the Evolv system.
  • Ensure that all visitors sign in and out of building.
  • Provide assistance on various projects.
  • Perform other duties assigned.
