This position serves as the primary receptionist, providing a welcoming first point of contact by answering phones, responding to inquiries, taking messages, and greeting visitors. The role also provides clerical and administrative support to management and program staff, performs light cleaning and general upkeep of reception and common areas, and reports critical incidents in accordance with applicable requirements. The receptionist must maintain compliance with Saint Francis Ministries policies, directives, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as applicable accreditation and licensure standards, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and the terms of the contract between Saint Francis Ministries and DCF. Additionally, the role involves protecting and promoting the rights, dignity, privacy, and safety of clients, reporting unusual incidents through appropriate risk management, clinical, and safety reporting channels, and maintaining knowledge of and consistently following applicable safety policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
