About The Position

Bamboo Sunrise is a growing mental health and treatment level foster care agency near Downtown Henderson, looking for energetic and friendly staff to help run our front office area. You must be able to set personal boundaries and assist in monitoring children, while still providing excellent customer service. Applicants should be 21 years old and must pass all the required background checks prior to employment. PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION PRIOR TO APPLYING. Must pass a full FBI/Adam Walsh/ and CANS background check through the Department of Family Services. Background check costs are not reimbursed. If you have any previous arrests within the last 7 years that are not only limited to DUIs, CPS, or Domestic Violence you DO NOT qualify for this position. Employer randomly drug tests (Including Marijuana ) No Exceptions Take Note: This position will require you to obtain a full DFS County background and Reference check, Nevada Residence fee is $45, and out-of-state residents relocating to Nevada will have additional fees, TB, CPR, and internal testing before beginning your contract with the agency. We do not cover the costs for any of the aforementioned testing or clearances so some up-front costs exist. However, we can provide up to 35 hours per week if you meet all expectations and engage in quality services with our clients.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role is preferred, but not necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Email correspondence
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. Fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Proven work experience with children
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional customer service attitude
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Must pass DFS Background Check, as well as pay the required fees associated - This is not reimbursed by the company.
  • Will be required to have a TB test on file, prior to employment - This is not reimbursed by the company.
  • Will be required to obtain a CPR Certification
  • 21 years of age or older preferred
  • Attend required annual training
  • Must have a reliable vehicle - Auto Insurance must be in your name or as a designated driver to the policy.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Check-in visitors and clients, directing them as needed
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Scheduling and confirming client appointments
  • Processing client payments
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
  • Light office cleaning, checking inventory and supply levels
  • Monitoring foster children and families in the lobby area
  • Attend required training as needed
