The Board of Pharmacy regulates the Practice of Pharmacy and enforces laws regarding pharmacy staff, drug outlets and the sale of drugs in Oregon. The Board was created in 1891. By licensing pharmacists, pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians, the Board of Pharmacy ensures that only qualified people practice pharmacy in Oregon. The Board registers and inspects retail and hospital pharmacies and stores that sell over-the-counter drugs. It also registers and inspects drug wholesalers and manufacturers and regulates the quality and distribution of all drugs in Oregon. As the Receptionist for the Board of Pharmacy you will provide specialized clerical, and technical support for the day-to-day operations of the licensing and registration program of the Board for individuals and facilities. This opportunity is Temporary and is expected to last approximately six months. The duties are performed in the Portland office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm to meet agency and department missions.
