Requirements

  • Experience in customer service
  • Ability to communicate with people
  • Comfortable taking and making phone calls
  • Good learning skills
  • High proficiency in English: be able to fluently communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Works well in a team and independently

Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls, emails, taking correct information and answering all questions efficiently, collecting health information
  • Greet patients in a friendly and courteous way and schedule or cancel optical examinations and appointments.
  • Invoicing and/or insurance payments from patients.
  • Pre-testing patients, prepping exam rooms, cleaning and setting up equipment, and showing patients how to care for contact lenses, perform tests such as OCT and VF.
  • Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a high pace level of work
  • Assisting the doctors when needed
